Olivia Edwards grew up in Pocatello, Idaho where she developed a love for the outdoors. She graduated from Western Washington University with a B.S. in Environmental Science in 2013. After two seasons of field work for state agencies in Idaho, Alaska became her home in 2015 when she took a technician position with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Fairbanks. She spent three seasons with the USFWS and was a substitute teacher during the winter months. She shares a home with her dog, Markus, and enjoys hiking, skijoring, and reading. She is excited and grateful to be pursuing an M.S. in Fisheries with support from the Alaska Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit at UAF and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
